D.A. Davidson Investment Banking Associate

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our Diversified Industrials Investment Banking Group as an Associate.

In this role, you will work closely with senior bankers to support business development, sourcing and execution of transactions,

• Actively participating in live deals such as M&A, capital offerings and strategic advisory
• Supervising investment banking analysts, including mentoring and oversight of the work product

You will also be responsible for developing important technical analysis and presentations creating marketing materials communicating and interacting with clients executing transactions travel is required client meetings conferences etc Participating in recruiting efforts

The ideal candidate will have a minimum 2 years professional experience working in investment banking private equity corporate development etc preferably transaction experience in the Aerospace & Defense or Government Services industry Bachelor's degree but an MBA is not required Highly motivated confident professional coachable Proficiency with Capital IQ PitchBook or Tableau advanced knowledge of business software especially Word Excel PowerPoint Strong knowledge of financial modeling corporate finance accounting Excellent verbal written communications skills including business writing Able to handle multiple projects competing priorities Strong work ethic team oriented approach Good judgment confidential situations ability exercise discretion High degree of comfort confidence interacting senior executives Ability train provide mentorship analysts interns Flexibility work long hours nights weekends needed Securities Industry Essentials Exam Series 79 Series 7 may applicable licenses preferred but not required New hires without these licenses successful completion hiring
