Job description
Looking for per diem coverage 7am-3:30pm or 9am-5:30pm, and potentially 3pm-7pm.Under the general supervision of the Lead Vascular Technologist, performs various types of non-invasive vascular testing. Must have knowledge of regulations governing vascular technology and function within the legal boundaries of vascular technology practice in an IAC accredited laboratory.
Required Skills/Qualifications/Training/Experience:
- Minimum 1-2 years of vascular technologist experience
- Must be able to perform all vascular modalities
- Excellent verbal, written, communication, customer service and organizational skills
Preferred Skills/Qualifications/Training/Experience:
- Previous experience with Cerner a plus
- Custom Lab (Software for IAC Accreditation)
Educational Requirements: Completion of an accredited ultrasound school with a focus on vascular technology, and/or on-site apprenticeship with a vascular laboratory
License/Certification: Must be a registered RVT (ARDMS), or CRV (CARDUP – Canadian equivalent)
