    Summary

    The primary purpose of this position is to serve as a first level supervisor, providing planning, directing, organizing, and exercising control over nonsupervisory employees assigned to the McGuire Cargo Movement Element, Traffic Management Flight.

    Duties

  • Plans, organizes, and directs the activities of the Cargo Movement Element of the Aerial Port Squadron, ensuring that the work performed complies with legal and regulatory requirements and meets customer needs.
  • Exercises supervisory personnel management responsibilities.
  • Represents Cargo Movement with a variety of installation and functional area organizations.
  • Conducts pre- and post-audits and maintains shipping documentation.
  • Determines freight classification for a variety of items some of which have no record or published classifications.
