    Job Description: Administer group membership activities for Group Purchasing Organizations (GPOs), Integrated Health Networks (IHNs), and other miscellaneous customer groupings. This position supports department and sales leadership with managing contractual relationships and driving a best-in-class approach to managing revenue through a multi-channel distribution model. The incumbent will work closely with management to deliver premium customer service while driving revenue growth through data analytics. This position will be a trusted advisor in membership management and will be responsible for advocating systems and tools that draw efficiency and enhanced value into the organization. This position is viewed as a team leader, capable of assisting other team members in meeting deadlines, fostering a rich collaborative environment.

    Core Responsibilities

    • Perform validation tasks and analyze both spend and contract data to determine proper customer pricing. Leverage data and strong relationships with stakeholders to protect company interests.
    • Update and maintain SAP with GPO, IHNs and miscellaneous customer group affiliation changes for compliant contracts and with respect to pricing tier requirements.
    • Support the membership team in providing guidance through day-to-day task, including ensuring membership meets deadlines.
    • Responsible to review and provide standard work resolution to discrepancies that arise, including implementing change management practices.
    • Maintain an accurate database of membership information, which is the source used for sales reporting, GPO fee payments, and sales incentives.
    • Implement customer migrations in a timely manner and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
    • Ensure application of Corporate Financial Policies, establish and maintain internal control procedures within area of responsibility.
    • Maintain a high level of customer service in all aspects of the job functions. Act as a liaison between Contract Management, Pricing, Chargebacks, Field Sales and Distribution by developing strong and open relationships with all groups.
    • Support day-to-day Membership tasks as required, inclusive of performing membership audits as applicable.
    • Responsible for customer reporting for the Sales Team which includes developing tools to assist the team with tracking, analyzing and reporting on GPO Contract related pricing effectiveness and training the team on the use of these tools and reports.
    • Assist Senior Contract Managers with migration analysis for end user changing IHN or GPO affiliations along with drafting simple contract documents.
    • Drive team results: Effective pricing and tier recommendations, Accuracy and timeliness in supporting chargeback/rebates processes and Accuracy and timeliness in implementing GPO contract pricing.

    Qualifying Experience

    • Bachelors degree in business or closely related field
    • Broad-based knowledge of the Health Care Industry, including GPOs, IHN organizations, and distribution (preferred)
    • 3 or more years of experience in any of the following: finance, commercial analytics, strategic pricing, contract analysis or closely related field (preferred)
    • Knowledge of SAP systems (preferred)
    • Group membership experience (preferred)
    • Technical: Expert knowledge of MS Office (Excel/Word); SAP systems.
    • Must have leadership qualities including customer-centric, global mindset, results-driven, collaborative, candor and speed.
    • Key skills required are excellent analysis capability, excellent written and oral communication skills, motivated to learn and teach.
    • The ability to quickly learn and leverage systems, as well as understanding of system interrelationships.
    • Ability to work cross-functionally and translate business needs and goals to business processes and reports.
    • Strong business acumen, an aptitude for discovery with quantitative analysis, and effective communication skills.
