Job DescriptionWe are looking for a Senior Accountant to join our team

General Accountant - Senior Job Description

Candidates for senior accountant positions should possess solid communication, technology, organizational and analytical skills.

When we hire senior accountants, we generally look for at least three years' experience, along with a bachelor's degree in accounting or finance.

A CPA is preferred. CPA Firm experience is a plus.

Typical senior accountant - duties:
Reconciling sub-ledger to general ledger account balances.

Preparing financial statements.

Supporting month-end and year-end close.

Preparing financial statements, journal entries and account reconciliations.

Assessing internal controls, including risk assessments and reviews of risk areas.

Assisting with budget preparation and preparing the annual budget variance analyses

Maintaining and reconciling fixed assets schedules.

Maintaining and reconciling Debt Schedules.

Supervising accounting staff.
