Privacy & Data Security Litigation Associate - SF or PAPerkins Coie is seeking a mid-level associate to join its Privacy & Data Security Litigation practice group, which handles a broad range of government investigations, litigation, and counseling concerning consumer privacy and data security as well as litigation concerning government access to information in the national security and law enforcement context.
Candidates with a demonstrated interest in privacy and data security, including the Electronic Communications Privacy Act, strongly preferred. Candidates should have superior writing skills, with 3-5 years of complex litigation and/or brief writing experience. Federal appellate clerkship or Supreme Court clerkships, experience in the U.S. Department of Justice and/or a Bristow Fellowship a plus. This position will be located in either the Palo Alto or San Francisco office.Excellent academic credentials, experience at an AmLaw 100 law firm, and California bar membership are required.
