    Description

    Laurel Crest Retirement Community is seeking CNA's to join their mission in the healthcare center engaging and assisting senior adults with living life to the fullest. We are looking for Full-time 11p - 7a for Skilled Nursing . Shift differential is offered. Sign on Bonus of $1000 will be paid in four increments over a year.

    CNA duties include, but not limited to:

    1. Assisting residents with activities of daily living including dressing, grooming, eating, bathing, positioning, turning, toileting, exercising, social and recreational activities, and safety and evacuation procedures, household management, serving meals, and restorative care. Providing assistance to residents in the dining room, to include serving, clearing tables, refilling drinks, and feeding as necessary.
    2. Performing all duties in a manner that is responsive to the needs of the residents and employees, promotes operating efficiency, and assures compliance with facility operating policies and procedures and Federal, State and Local Laws.
    3. Answering call lights promptly.
    4. Completing "Progress Notes" as resident care is provided. Observe and report any significant change in resident's health or behavior, reactions to medications, or any significant incidents that occur with resident. Notes are entered electronically in Point Click Care.
    5. Reporting events such as refusal of meals or showers, skin concerns, or any change in condition to the floor nurse at time of occurrence or observation.
    6. Responding to emergency call requests in the apartments and provide first aide and assist with transfers to the hospitals as needed.
    Requirements

    Required Minimum Education, Experience and Skills:
    • High School Diploma or GED
    • SC Certified Nursing Assistant License
    • CPR certification
    Preferred Education, Experience and Skills:
    • 1-3 years of experience as a Certified Nursing Assistant
