    About the Role

    As a certified Auto Glass Repair Technician, you will use our top-notch technology to perform vehicle glass repairs. You will embody our company spirit with your positive attitude, compassionate heart, and customer service mindset. Your goal will be to exceed customer expectations by delivering impeccable quality in all your work.

    Your Responsibilities

    • Learn vehicle glass repair techniques both in classroom settings and hands-on, guided by experienced technicians.
    • Repair chips, cracks, and various auto glass issues on customer vehicles.
    • Manage work orders, customer documentation, and communication using our Mobile Resource Management technology.
    • Keep customer vehicles clean during their wait and perform additional housekeeping tasks in the company vehicle and shop.
    • Safely operate company and customer vehicles, along with tools and chemicals during work hours.
    • Complete other duties as assigned and adhere to all company policies and standards.

    Qualifications

    • High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
    • A valid driver's license and any other necessary licenses to operate a company vehicle.
    • Completion of on-the-job training and Safelite SafeTech certification is required.
    • Must be at least 18 years old.

    Skills and Abilities

    • Ability to lift and carry up to 25 lbs., with assistance for heavier items (up to 50 lbs.).
    • Capable of standing for extended periods and working in various physical conditions.
    • Proficient in using hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently.
    • Must operate a vehicle legally and be willing to be monitored for safety compliance.
    • Demonstrates a professional demeanor and a commitment to outstanding customer service.
    • Ability to work outdoors in diverse weather and temperature conditions.
    • Comfortable handling chemicals safely as needed.
    • Flexible with scheduling to meet customer needs.
    • Effective problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot independently and as a team.
    • Proficient in reading, writing and interpreting instructions in English.
    • Strong oral and written communication skills.
    • Maintains professional appearance and adheres to company uniform policies.
    • Resilient under pressure and can maintain productivity in challenging situations.

    This position requires driving, which will be monitored for safety and compliance using cameras, GPS, and other tracking technologies.
