    Senior Business Data Analyst in Orlando (2-4x onsite per week)

    12 Month W2 Contract (NO C2C/NO VISA SPONSORSHIP)

    Pay up to $70.50

    • 3+ years experience in data analytics with strong Excel and Power BI
    • Prior experience in a project management/portfolio management /PMO environment (will be running metrics/KPI's for projects, so should have a similar background)
    • Clarity is a plus

    Seeking a senior-level business analyst who can ramp up quickly, adapt easily to changing priorities and business requirements, and work in an environment without a defined scope. Someone who can operate in the gray / ambiguous will find success as this role will need to flex all of these styles.

    Under guidance of the Manager-Project and Program Management, the Sr. Business Analyst will be responsible for utilizing advanced data analysis techniques to extract and provide recommendations on actionable insights and emerging trends from complex datasets. This data will involve project-level details, portfolio-level summaries, and financial forecasting components. They will be responsible for translating analytical findings and recommendations into executive-level summaries and/or presentations to create compelling storytelling in a clear and concise manner. They'll flex their business skills by helping develop innovative strategies - driven by their data and research findings - to improve operational efficiency and achieve business objectives.

    Responsibilities

    Utilize advanced data analysis techniques to extract actionable insights and emerging trends from complex datasets.

    Translate analytical findings and recommendations into executive-level presentations and compelling storytelling--And present intricate information in a clear and concise manner

    Develop innovative strategies and recommendations for improving operational efficiency and achieving business objectives using data and research.

    Basic Qualifications

    Proficient in Excel for data manipulation and analysis specifically VLOOKUP, Pivot Table, Modeling/Report Building, SUMIF, IF Forumlas, HLOOKUP, handling large data sets, etc.

    Prior experience in portfolio and/or project management environments – especially compelling if in new, developing organizations or start-ups

    3+ years business data analytics

    MS Office proficient & expertise in equivalent software; expert in Excel

    Experience in PowerPoint presentation design

    Knowledge of Power BI or other visualization tools

    Practiced in the basics of project management (estimation, project planning, resource planning, issue management, risk management, change management, communication planning)

    Strategic planning partner for development of organizational standards and processes based upon data and research findings

    Able to meet deadlines and deliver under intense business environment

    Experience working with multiple creative and technical teams

    Excellent business communication, writing and interpersonal skills

    Proactive and solution-oriented when managing issues

    Able to communicate clearly and concisely with all levels of management

    Practiced in negotiating with others in ways that result in win/win agreements and outcomes

    Demonstrated analysis/assessment capabilities

    Preferred Qualifications

    Background in leveraging and optimizing Clarity MyPPM

    Education

    BA/BS or equivalent experience

    Compensation:

    The estimated pay range for this position is USD $65.00/hr - $70.50/hr and is an Exempt role.

    Exact compensation and offers of employment are dependent on circumstances of each case and will be determined based on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, licenses or certifications, and location.
