    Job Description



    • Detect and question individuals suspected of violating immigration laws while inspecting documents and possessions to determine citizenship or violations.

    • Prevent and apprehend aliens and smugglers at or near borders by maintaining surveillance from covert positions using infrared scopes during night operations.

    • Interpret physical evidence such as tracks, marks, or other signs indicating illegal entry of persons or contraband.

    Borders Patrol Work Requirments:

    • The ability to speak English fluently along with basic Spanish knowledge (approximately 65).
