    Position Summary:

    Assess and evaluate patients, conduct therapy sessions, and oversee treatment and discharge planning. Maintain a safe and efficient environment, ensuring quality care for all patients in collaboration with the treatment team.

    Essential Functions:

    • Actively participate in the treatment team process
    • Connect patients with community resources
    • Communicate treatment recommendations effectively
    • Conduct bio-psycho-social assessments and formulate discharge plans
    • Involve patients and families in the care plan
    • Facilitate group sessions and provide counseling
    • Report to Director of Behavioral Health

    Minimum Qualifications:

    A high school diploma or equivalent is required. A Master's degree is necessary. Must be a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with at least 3 years of experience in mental health and/or substance abuse.

    • Ability to handle high-stress environments
    • Effective communication and response to patient needs

    Required License/Certifications:

    Preferred- Licensed clinical social worker. BLS required, or obtain within the first week of hire. Hospital-approved Behavioral Management Program will be provided.
