    *OpenText Systems Analyst

    *Hybrid - Tampa, Florida

    *Direct Placement

    The Associate Systems Analyst develops software of limited complexity. Provides primary support for one or more applications. Participates on Application Development and Support teams. Works under direct supervision.

    *POSITION CONCEPT

    A Systems Analyst develops applications; implements software packages, integrates applications, and provides 24x7 application support.

    Collaborates on all phases of the software development life-cycle (SDLC) with a focus on the application design, development, and implementation phases.

    Utilizes appropriate development tools and technologies in keeping with the IT architecture.

    *PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Develops software of limited complexity based on specifications provided.
    • Implements software packages for which limited configuration and integration is required with minimal vendor contact.
    • Integrates applications where the complexity of interfaces is limited and based on specifications provided.
    • Provides 24x7 primary support for one or more applications typically classified as 'niche' or 'core', but not 'mission-critical'. May provide secondary support for mission-critical applications.
    • Supports the request and analysis phases of SDLC by assisting with documentation and estimates.
    • Executes the design, development, and implementation phases of SDLC by producing the prescribed deliverables under the guidance of more senior staff.
    • Participates on an Application Development and Support team as well as project teams under the direction of their manager, senior team members, or project managers.
    • Acquires and maintains knowledge of business areas relevant to projects and application support assignments.
    • Acquires and maintains appropriate technical skills.

    • OpenText Archiving and Doc Access for SAP
    • OpenText Archive Center
    • OpenText Content Server
    • OpenText Capture Center
    • OpenText Enterprise Scan
    • OpenText Web Viewer
    • OpenText Vendor Invoice Management for SAP
    • Intelligent Capture Center
    • OpenText Directory Services
    • C# Programming to the OpenText API would be a very nice to have skill
    • Development experience in Opentext Exstream is an added advantage.
    *QUALIFICATIONS
    • Bachelor's degree in Information/Computer Science, Business Administration, Engineering, Mathematics, Information Systems or equivalent discipline
    • Preferred: Certifications in specific job-related disciplines are preferred
    *RELATED EXPERIENCE

    Minimum one year of experience in systems analysis, design, and development.

    *KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES
    • Working knowledge of business software applications and hardware technologies. Stays current with IT industry trends and emerging technologies.
    • Good verbal, written, analytical, and interpersonal skills.
    • Understands project plans and is able to clearly articulate their role, project goals, and timelines.
    • Working knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite.
    • Comprehends technical design specifications and possesses knowledge of development tools and technologies in support of the Information Technology Architecture.
    *WORKING CONDITIONS

    Most work performed in an office environment, but occasional travel to operating locations is required.
