Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations and assessments to determine students' physical therapy needs.
• Develop and implement personalized treatment plans to enhance students' mobility, strength, coordination, and functional abilities.
• Collaborate closely with educators, parents, and other members of the educational team to ensure optimal student progress and outcomes.
• Deliver direct therapy services, including therapeutic exercises, manual therapy, and assistive device training.
• Regularly monitor and document students' progress, making adjustments to treatment plans as necessary.
• Actively participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings, providing valuable input on physical therapy goals and objectives.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in accordance with relevant laws, regulations, and school policies.

Requirements:

• Master's degree or Doctorate in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
• Current state licensure as a Physical Therapist or eligibility for licensure.
• Previous experience working with pediatric populations is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with school-based therapy practices and regulations is advantageous.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
• Flexibility and adaptability to address the unique needs of each student.
