As a strategic thinker and a relationship builder your mission is to expand Abb s Process Automation business by identifying onboarding and nurturing a strong network of channel partners distributors system integrators installers and sales agents who will champion our solutions in untapped markets Main Responsibilities : Lead with Strategy You will define and execute a robust sales strategy through channel partners to deliver Order volume and profitability targets ensuring Abb s process automation & electrical control systems reach the right customers through the right channels across the eastern US states Market Expansion & Growth You will evaluate market segments determining where to deploy direct indirect or multi-channel sales efforts to maximize Abb s market share Build & Strengthen Partnerships More than just signing agreements you will cultivate and nurture long-term mutually beneficial relationships with top-tier channel partners ensuring alignment with Abb s goals Enable Partner Success You ll ensure partners have the technical and commercial training tools and support needed to sell integrate ABB's distributed control systems DCS digital solutions ,and electrical control offerings seamlessly Drive Synergies Across ABB Solutions You ll connect ABB's DCS technology with complementary offerings creating value for both partners customers Energy Process industries Champion Collaboration You ll work closely marketing Sales business development teams ensure that channel partner an integral part of growth strategy Qualifications Strong background indirect Sales Channel management proven ability build scale partner networks Knowledge set apart expertise petrochemicals specialty chemicals refining pharmaceuticals life sciences power generation water waste water food beverage industries competitive edge Bachelor degree electrical engineering controls engineering equivalent experience Self-starter mindset analytical strategic thinking skills see opportunities others challenges Willingness travel % eastern US states meeting partners customers they are Excellent communication skills fluency English Spanish proficiency highly desirable Experience driving change initiatives large complex organizations navigating ambiguity confidence Product Description The Energy Industries Division serves wide range of industrial sectors hydrocarbons chemicals pharmaceuticals power generation water With integrated solutions automate digitalize electrify operations Division committed supporting traditional industries efforts decarbonize Division also supports development integration scaling new renewable energy models Goal help customers adapt succeed rapidly changing global energy transition Harnessing data machine learning artificial intelligence AI brings over years domain expertise delivering designed improve energy process production efficiency reduce risk operational cost capital cost minimizing waste entire plant lifecycle Why ABB What s story Bring full self work ideas energy ambition Have tools freedom grow skills shape path take challenges Work creates impact see feel every day
