    Job Description

Job DescriptionThis is not an art department position, artists need not apply.
Pay begins at $13/hr and raises $1 every two months, to a maximum of $16/hr.
The Jr. Print Technician will be trained to set up & begin prints, post process (remove excess material from plastic & resin prints, glue & coat wood prints) and clean extensively.
We use a combination of laser cutters, resin & filament 3d printers to create custom gift shop items, signage, mounts & tools for around the resort.
Half of the shift is setup & post processing while the other half is cleaning. Our processes generate dust & soot, so it is essential to clean all surfaces and mop daily. Other processes like resin printing require meticulous attention to detail in completely cleaning the printing assembly.
This job requires a keen eye in recognizing deviances in production to set aside and note for the director to adjust.
The Print Technician works from 9 AM to 5:30PM six days a week.
They will be trained for and expected to:
    • Run provided files on the Prusa Mini, Elegoo Saturn and XTool D1 Pro lines of machines
    • Perform daily cleaning & maintenance on machines to ensure consistent production
    • Identify prints that deviate from the expected output and notify the director in a timely fashion.
    • Clean surfaces and mop daily, and have strong organizational skills.

This is not an art department position, artists need not apply.
