    Description

    Overview:


    The US Army Communications- Electronics Command (CECOM) CIO/G6 is responsible for supporting the Information Technology (IT) infrastructure and equipment requirements for approximately 9000 Soldiers, Civilians, and Contractors worldwide.

    The infrastructure and equipment CIO/G6 provides is a key support enabling CECOM personnel to execute the commands mission:

    CECOM delivers integrated C5ISR weapon systems, business systems, and medical sustainment to enable full spectrum combat operations at the point of need.


    Responsibilities:
    Desktop Service support shall be provided on NIPR and SIPR networks, or in standalone, non-networked operating environment.

    All Desktop Technician personnel shall acquire and maintain NIPR elevated privilege tenant desktop administrator accounts for NIPR desktop service support performance.


    Qualifications:
    Must possess Secret Clearance (or have the ability to obtain Secret Clearance)

    3 or more years of related experience
    DoD Baseline Certification
    Security+ or equivalent as specified in the DoD
    DoD Computing Environment Certified


    MCDST:
    Microsoft Certified Desktop Support Technician or equivalent as specified in DoD
