    Radiologic Technologist Job Requirements

    Minimum 2 years (24 months) of current X-Ray / radiography experience in a hospital or medical center setting

    ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) certification — ARRT(R)

    Active Iowa radiology license or willingness to obtain state licensure at time of acceptance

    BLS (Basic Life Support) certification from AHA or ARC

    Proficiency with Siemens general radiography equipment and Carestream portable units

    Experience with GE OEC C-arms and Medtronic O-arm for OR imaging and surgery fluoroscopy

    Operating room / surgery fluoroscopy experience and ability to support C-arm and O-arm procedures

    Experience supporting all radiology areas:
    plain film, operative exams, and portable exams across all age groups

    EPIC EMR experience and accurate electronic documentation skills

    Valid Driver's License

    Key Responsibilities

    Perform high-quality diagnostic radiology and general radiography procedures using Siemens, Carestream, GE OEC, and Medtronic O-arm equipment

    Provide imaging support in the operating room and for surgical procedures, including C-arm and O-arm imaging

    Conduct portable X-Ray exams across inpatient units and emergency settings

    Ensure patient safety and deliver patient-centered care for all age groups

    Document procedures, images, and patient information accurately in EPIC EMR

    Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams (radiologists, surgeons, nurses) to optimize workflow and image quality

    Float as needed across multiple campuses within the health system to support staffing needs
