    **Job Summary:**

    Responsible for reviewing daily processes and journal entries prepared by Staff and Senior Accountants. Coordinates preparation of consolidated monthly financial statements. Prepares month end financial and statistical reports and account analyses. Instructs or assigns work to employees engaged in general accounting activities.

    **Key Responsibilities:**

    • Prepares and issues monthly consolidated financial statements as well as special financial and statistical reports and analyzes unusual items on financial or control reports.

    • Coordinates month end and quarter end close procedures.

    • Supervises and trains accounting staff.

    • Maintains internal control standards in compliance with corporate procedures.

    • Compiles data for and prepares regularly scheduled or special reports analyses and financial statements.

    • Researches and resolves accounting problems.

    • Provides support for quarterly Audit review and Annual audit.

    • Monitors periodic reconciliations of balance sheet accounts.

    • Ensures periodic reconciliations of various bank accounts are completed.

    • Performs other duties as assigned or requested.

    • Reviews inventory sub-ledger and related general ledger accounts at month end.

    • Reviews and develops reconciliations of international branch plants.

    • Reviews and verifies the accuracy and validity of purchase price variance and cost of sales transactions.

    • Standard cost maintenance / Initiates standard cost changes when necessary.

    • Manages month end close process for procure to pay cycle.

    • Prepares inventory trend reports for upper management.

    • Prepares complex account reconciliations of accrued liability related to inventory accounts.

    • Reviews inter-company inventory eliminations and inventory inter-company accounts.

    • Compiles data for and prepares regularly scheduled special reports and analyses.

    • Develops additional account reconciliations related to the procure to pay process.

    • Assists purchasing and operations with systems related inventory processes and improvements.

    Supervisory: Senior Accountants Staff Accountant

    **Required Skills:

    MINIMUM EDUCATION:

    Bachelor's degree in accounting.

    LICENSES OR CERTIFICATIONS:

    CPA (or CPA candidate) preferred

    SKILLS/KNOWLEDGE/ABILITIES (SKA) REQUIRED:

    • Advance knowledge of accounting principles.

    • Advanced verbal and written communication skills.

    • Advanced quality improvement skills.

    • Advanced creative problem solving and decision-making skills.

    • Advanced knowledge of procure to pay process

    • Advanced ERP system research skills

    • ERP experience required – Netsuite preferred

    • Experience with Floqast

    • Experience with JDE

    • Advanced MS Office Excel knowledge

    WORKING CONDITIONS:

    The work is performed in an office environment with moderate noise levels.

    Required to work in office Monday – Thursday. Friday remote day.

    **Required Experience:**

    Prefer five to ten years of experience in financial accounting reconciliations and reporting. Experience working closely with supply-chain processes and management is preferred. Management of a professional accounting team.
