    *PRN, Short-Term Option, etc.). Ascension Medical Group is seeking a highly motivated, confident, and energetic full time Gastroenterologist to join our team.

    This is a great opportunity for the right candidate to join a well established gastroenterology group. Must be Board Eligible/Board Certified in Gastroenterology, open to new fellows.

    General/ Traditional Outpatient & Inpatient GI
    Full spectrum general adult gastroenterology (18 & older)
    Strong primary care referral base
    APP support
    Office located 10 minutes from hospital
    Ambulatory Outpatient Care Center available 5 days per week for procedures
    Ambulatory Outpatient Procedures also available at Hospital weekly
    ERCP training is ideal, not required

    Evaluates and treats patients with appropriate medical diagnostic and treatment skills.

    Recommends, participates in, and works to ensure the success of efforts to improve cost effectiveness and quality of care provided to patients.

    Acts as consulting physician for patients who require hospitalization for primary medical diagnoses, depending on needs of patients, medical staff and hospital.

    Participates in academic programs (e.g. medical education and research) as requested.

    Licensure/Certification/Registration:
    Physician MD/DO with Prescriptive Authority credentialed from the Michigan Board of Medicine.
