Our teaching style supports creativity through hands-on engagement, learning through play, and modeling.

    This is a full-time position that works 8-hour shifts, Monday – Sunday. The pay is $13 -15 per hour depending on experience and qualifications. This role is onsite at our center located: 2980 Pat McKee Pl, Melbourne FL,

    The Preschool Teacher develops a cohesive teaching team, coordinates the curriculum, and manages the day-to-day operational activities of the 3 year old classroom. The Teacher in this role should be high energy and able to work well with staff, students, and parents. You'll have the chance to be a leader in the classroom, champion a team environment, and provide fun-filled learning opportunities while positively impacting children's lives.

    What You'll Do:


    • Promote positive self-image by listening, responding, and encouraging independence

    • Lead by example and encourage teaching team success through modeling and coaching

    • Plan individual and group age-appropriate exercises to actively engage children and encourage social, cognitive, and emotional growth

    • Guide children in self-regulation using techniques from Conscious Discipline

    • Ensure all Center policies and state regulations are met

    • Maintain positive communication with parents

    • Coordinate and implement educational curriculum by developing classroom activities based on developmentally appropriate practices and early learning standards

    • Maintain a personal and professional development plan to ensure continuous quality improvement

    What We Need from You:


    • FL DCF 45 hour Certification required

    • High school Diploma or degree in related field of study required

    • Minimum of 1 year of professional early childhood education or experience

    • Ability to work with neurodivergent children

    • Must clear a full level II DCF background check

    • Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills, oral and written communication skills, and basic computer skills

    • CPR, First Aid, and Fire Extinguisher Certification completion within 30 days of employment

    • Effective in communicating with both students and adults to meet the needs of the children, effectively guide teachers, and resolve parental concerns

    • Strong understanding of children's cognitive, social, emotional, and physical development to ensure a safe and stimulating classroom environment where students are engaged and encouraged to succeed
