    As a


    PHPFull Stack Engineer

    , you will be part of a cross functioning team delivering high-quality
    PHPsoftware solutions that meet the requirements and contribute to the overall success of our client's projects. You will be involved in the conversations around the analysis and understanding of the specific requirements for the complex functions these


    PHPLaravel

    web applications will perform.


    What You Will Do:
    Develop

    web applications

    and APIs using


    PHP
    , Laravel,

    JavaScript,

    MySQL, MariahDB,

    and related technologies.
    Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze requirements, design solutions, and implement features.
    Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code while following best practices and coding standards.
    Perform thorough testing and debugging of applications to ensure high-quality and bug-free software.
    Optimize application performance and scalability to handle high traffic and large datasets.
    Participate in code reviews, provide constructive feedback, and adhere to version control and release management processes.
    Keep up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry trends, actively contributing innovative ideas to improve processes and software development practices.
    Troubleshoot and resolve application issues, providing technical support to users when necessary.
    Collaborate with team members and actively participate in Agile development methodologies.

    there is a Front End developer you work closely with

    who is doing all the React UI for you, and the CSS Tailwinds UI, HTML5 markup for you. You are doing all the backend PHP,
    PHPREST API's and database.

    What You Will Need To Have:

    Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, Management Information Systems, Business degree, or a related field; or related experience in lieu of a bachelors degree.

    4-5+ years

    of proven experience as a Full-Stack
    PHPDeveloper creating web applications with

    PHP, and Javascript,

    and MVC
    In-depth knowledge of


    PHPMVC frameworks

    such as

    Laravel, Symfony, Phalcon.
    Experience with relational databases and non-relational databases such as

    MySQL or MariahDB

    , including writing optimized queries.
    Experience in
    PHP
    building APIs

    and integrating with third-party APIs.
    Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., BitBucket, or Git)
    A clear understanding of software development principles, design patterns, and software design best practices, SDLC understanding. An ability to elicit requirements from stakeholders.
    Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to quickly learn and adapt to new technologies.
    Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively in a team environment.
    Knowledge of Agile development methodologies (e.g., Scrum) is a plus.


    We prefer candidates that have:
    Previous


    PHPexperience

    with

    Laravel

    framework, or

    Symfony

    framework, or

    Phalcon

    framework.
    Exposure to Agile development methodologies (e.g., Scrum) is desired.
    Passion for staying up-to-date with the latest technologies and trends is highly desirable.
    Contribution to open-source projects or personal coding projects are helpful.

    Laravel integrated authentication, enriched unit testing, Blade templates engineer, Artisan command-line tool, Laravel Livewire, JSON, Blade Directives, Components, Layouts, Forms, Service Injection, Laravel service container.

    Desired, but unlikely, just in case. (None of these are required but are desired.):

    Proven experience in a

    healthcare

    technology environment


    OR
    in the implementation of

    an AI / ML, Generative AI solution

    or technology product.
    An understanding of

    healthcare

    industry practices and regulations

    is preferred.
    Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
    Problem-solving skills and a proactive mindset.
    Experience with JIRA is preferred.
    Knowledge of

    Generative AI

    solutions or products using artificial intelligence, machine learning, AI, ML, analytical data, Large Language Models or generative AI models.

    Knowledge of

    natural language processing, conversational AI, the associated ethical considerations in the developments and deployments or uses of such models

    is preferred. (but not required)

    Salary Range:
    $115,000 to $140,000 / year

    we are only considering candidates residing in the DFW area or moving to Dallas or Fort Worth.
