- Support efforts related to Autonomy System Integration including overall vehicle build, commissioning/bring-up of various sense, compute & actuation systems, and developmental testing on prototype and production vehicle platforms.
- Develop and execute vehicle integration plans related to all ADAS/Autonomy sub-systems while keeping track of overall program milestones and delivery objectives.
- Perform daily regression testing, documenting, and triaging any issues identified.
- Deep-dive into vehicle log data and source code if required to root-cause system-level issues and facilitate rapid issue resolution in collaboration with domain experts.
- Support systems engineering activities including interface definition, development, and functional testing in coordination with various vehicle-level systems such as Powertrain, Chassis, Body and HMI systems.
- Support preliminary functional verification of ADAS/Autonomy related SW releases on various test vehicle platforms - prior to hand-off to test & validation teams.
- B.S+ in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field with 1+ years working experience in automotive engineering.
- Python familiarity or working knowledge of C/C++
- Highly motivated to take ownership of topics, work cross functionally, and to drive progress to the point of resolution.
- Basic understanding of automotive software development concepts including continuous integration, continuous deployment (CI/CD) software development models.
- Basic understanding of dependencies between various electrical & mechanical systems - experience with systems engineering / automotive network architecture / vehicle integration.
- Basic knowledge of and hands on experience with automotive electrical systems and communication protocols (CAN, Flexray, Ethernet) and relevant debug tools.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced development environment -proactively collaborate cross-functionally with other teams to solve vehicle-level integration problems.
- Basic understanding of vehicle safety concepts and testing-related safety procedures.
- Flexibility to travel domestically and internationally up to 25%.
- Clean driving record - experience driving prototype test-vehicles in test-tracks is a plus.

Role Summary:As part of the Autonomy Systems Integration team, you will be fundamental in the successful development and deployment of Rivians suite of ADAS/Autonomy features. You will be part of the Palo Alto / Irvine based System Integration team which works cross functionally with Rivian SW development teams based locally and throughout Rivian locations around the country. This role is expected to be onsite, with occasional travel required to meet development and testing needs.
Responsibilities:Salary Range for California Based Applicants: $129, $161, actual compensation will be determined based on experience, location, and other factors permitted by law).
