    Senior .NET Developer Job Description

    We are seeking a highly skilled Senior .NET Developer to join our team.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Analyze existing applications at client sites to build new web applications.
    • Work with project managers, developers, business analysts, and functional team members on project activities.

    Essential Duties:

    1. Lead the complete Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) for project assignments and participate in full development life cycle including requirements analysis and design.
    2. Collaborate with technical and functional staff on detailed business requirements, understanding business processes and technology, agency standards, federal and state policies to align with project goals.
    3. Write technical specifications based on conceptual design and stated business requirements.
    4. Use object-oriented techniques and best practices for design, development, unit testing, and deployment.
    5. Develop code along with unit testing strategy & plans.
    6. Utilize Microsoft .NET Framework and a supported MVC framework, C# programming language for application development.
    7. Work with project managers to ensure project plans are maintained and project milestones are being met.
    8. Collaborate with project managers, technical staff, and end-users to prototype, refine, test, and debug programs to meet application needs.
    9. Demonstrate ability to work independently with less guidance and collaborate with ISDH external partners as needed.
    10. Take agency web applications architecture and business decisions into consideration for design.
    11. Demonstrate ability to work independently and under general supervision with latitude for independent judgment.

    Requirements:

    • Working experience with ASP.NET.
    • Working experience with C#, MVC.
    • Experience in analysis and addressing security-related issues for applications built in multiple languages.
    • Working experience with Oracle.
    • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related fields with IT experience.
    • Healthcare EDI experience.
    • Expert understanding of SDLC.
    • Current working experience with Web Services.
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
    • Ability to solve complex programming issues.
    • Experience in the Health Industry is a plus.
