Job Description:

. Prepare new or updated Site-Specific Health and Safety Plans.

• Conduct safety inspections and audits to assess employee/employer compliance with safety regulations.
• Prepare and enforce policies to establish a culture of safety.
• Develops and implements a system to report, monitor, and correct safety problems.
• Prepares and schedules training to cover emergency procedures, workplace safety, and other relevant topics.

. Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to improve quality, compliance, and business efficiency.

. Investigate incidents to discover root cause and work with each department lead when necessary.

• Collaborates with Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) representatives and internal safety staff during formal

plant audits and inspections; documents corrective actions taken.

• Performs other related duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Associate or four-year college degree; or two to three years minimum related experience and/or training.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Strong supervisory and leadership skills.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
• Ability to conduct training.
• Knowledge of company safety policies and applicable Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) standards.

Salary Description

70,000 -80,000
