    Part-Time Sales Associate (Hemline South Walton)

    Reports To: Store Manager.Classification: Non-Exempt.Position Type: Part Time.

    Job Description:Summary: As a Sales Associate at Hemline, you play a crucial role in the Retail team, focusing on enhancing the in-store customer experience, maintaining store appearance, and building customer loyalty. Collaboration with colleagues ensures a harmonious work environment. Proficiency in Shopify is essential, with guidance provided by the Store Manager. The Sales Associate personifies Hemline's values and dedication to customer-focused operations.

    • Demonstrate initiative and prepare the selling floor daily for opening.
    • Deliver exceptional customer service by offering personalized assistance and product knowledge.
    • Maintain visual merchandising standards as per guidelines.
    • Educate fellow associates on merchandise standards to create a high-performing team.
    • Build lasting customer relationships to drive repeat business.
    • Set and exceed customer service goals to enhance customer satisfaction.
    • Ensure customer happiness by going the extra mile.
    • Inspire customers with our brand culture and values.
    • Organize and manage inventory while keeping the store clean and visually appealing.

    Competencies:

    • Proficient in Shopify for efficient navigation.
    • Understanding of user functionality on various devices.
    • Exceptional customer service skills with empathy and problem-solving abilities.
    • Capable of merchandise handling to provide a smooth shopping experience.
    • Strong retail support skills for inquiries, purchases, and after-sales assistance.
    • Effective selling techniques using product knowledge and interpersonal skills.
    • Proficient in wrapping merchandise securely and attractively.

    Required Education and Experience:

    • High school diploma or equivalent.

    Additional Eligibility Qualifications:

    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

    Work Environment: This role is mainly in a retail store with occasional office interactions.

    Physical Demands:

    • Requires standing, walking, using hands, reaching, and talking.
    • Occasional sitting, climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, or lifting objects.

    Work Hours: Typical hours are Monday-Saturday from 9:45 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. and Sunday from 10:45 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. with flexibility to adapt to the dynamic retail environment.
