    annual salary:

    $70,000$5,000 sign on bonus JOB SUMMARYResponsible for the overall coordination and implementation of a treatment program for children ages 5-12. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Responsible for direct clinical and administrative supervision of clinical, child development and supervisory staff, including hiring, training and performance management.
    Works in concert with DCF Regional staff on program protocol for case referral, conferencing/communication, program case reporting and termination.
    Responsible for admissions and/or treatment coordination in the program. Ensure safe, therapeutic programming for children.
    Participate as member of multi-disciplinary treatment team; provide some clinical case coverage.
    Responsible for quality assurance, utilization review, public relations, and maintaining license and accreditation.
    Continuously monitor program for improved service delivery. Coordinate and implement aftercare services and home visits.
    Communicate, coordinate and collaborate with collateral agencies, including DCF, school systems, etc.
    Assist Program Director in developing yearly budget, control and monitoring of budget performance.
    Other duties and responsibilities as assigned by management.
    Experience and SkillsEDUCATIONMSW/MA or equivalent.
    LCSW, Licensed Ph.
    D., or similar professional licensure. License-eligible candidates with commensurate experience may be considered.
    EXPERIENCEThree to five years experience in clinical child psychology, clinical social work or child welfare. Previous supervisory experience in a clinical treatment setting preferred.
    Demonstrated ability to develop and maintain collaborative relationships with diverse community agencies and programs.
    Strong written and oral communication skills.
    Organized and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
    Flexible and able to multi-task.
    Valid driver's license and the capacity to attain or maintain a Public Service License.
    Cultural competency to serve targeted populations.
    Bilingual skills (English/Spanish) a plus.
    Commitment to Performance Based Accountability.
    Proficient with word processing and spreadsheet applications. Possess solid general computer skills, including ability to work in a Windows XP environment. Familiarity with specific applications used by The Village a plus.

    Physically able to perform the essential functions of the position, with or without reasonable accommodations and the ability to interact with children in a therapeutic environment without risk of injury, ability to perform physical restraint if necessary for safety.
