    Position Overview:
    We're seeking an experienced and compassionate Dog Groomer to join our growing team The ideal candidate will have a deep love for animals, strong grooming skills, and a commitment to exceptional pet care. You will be responsible for providing top-notch grooming services to a variety of dog breeds while maintaining a safe and calming environment.

    Responsibilities:

    • Perform grooming services, including bathing, drying, brushing, haircuts, nail trims, ear cleaning, and styling as requested by clients

    • Assess each dog's coat, skin condition, and behavior to recommend the best grooming approach and tools

    • Communicate effectively with pet owners to understand and meet their grooming preferences

    • Ensure a safe and stress-free grooming experience for pets by handling them with care and patience

    • Clean and maintain grooming tools, equipment, and workspace to uphold our hygiene and safety standards

    • Monitor the health of pets during grooming sessions, reporting any concerns to the pet owner and management

    • Keep detailed records of grooming services and client preferences

    • Maintain excellent customer service and client relationships through friendly communication and a professional attitude

    Qualifications:

    • Minimum of 1 year of professional dog grooming experience

    • Certification from a recognized grooming school or relevant grooming experience

    • Familiarity with grooming techniques and tools for different dog breeds

    • Strong understanding of animal behavior and ability to handle dogs in a calm and gentle manner

    • Excellent customer service skills with the ability to build strong client relationships

    • Attention to detail, organizational skills, time management and reliability

    Preferred Skills:

    • CPR and First Aid certification for pets

    • Knowledge of grooming safety procedures and allergy considerations

    • Proficient computer skills to work with a online client Pet Portal for scheduling and transactions
