Associate Cost Accountant - Suckle Highway, Pennsauken, NJ, United States - Puratos

The AssociateCost Accountantwill report, monitor and review daily process order transactions for inefficiencies & perform research to determine the root cause

Primary Responsibilities:
Maintain cost accounting system, including updates of the standard costs & finished good routing times. Develop and maintain cost accounting systems and procedures. Analyze Purchase Price Variance & book all related journal entries. Analyze manufacturing variances from standard costs & report. Prepare and analyze product costs for new and existing products. Provide guidance and support to the production team on cost-related matters. Book month end accruals related to production & quality cost centers. Participate on site internal/external audits. Ad-hoc support of operations/finance with respect to the above.


Qualifications:

Education experience BachelorsDegree in Finance, Accounting, or related field Entry level role - 1 yrrelated experience preferred Prior Knowledge/Experience Proficiency in Microsoft Office.

SAP experience required.
