Job DescriptionOperate a fork truck (PIV) in a safe and effective manner.
Picking parts for a production order.

Select pick information from work order packetPick each item by identifying and verifying the item firstPick to the quantity required, use of scale to count items is importantCounting accuracy is criticalEnsure the picked product and product that remains in location is protectedMove picked items to the staging areaVerify another driver's items, if required.

Must be able to:
Read and follow work order instructionsAchieve expected pick rate while picking accuratelyCount accurately, watch scales for variances, and scan properlyUnderstand flags, tags, and labels used to control material controls in the warehouseWatch for faulty, damaged, or nicked materials or packages to ensure the Quality Policy and Objectives are being met Take action when a location is found to be empty or have the wrong item storedCommunicate with co-workers in a positive, business-like mannerComply with all facility safety and work rules; including, but not limited to security requirements, completion of a job costing card (white card), and following proper procedures for accident/incident reporting, emergency evacuation, etc

Demonstrate a professional mannerOther Duties:

General housekeeping dutiesParticipate in required trainings and auditsWork in other areas as deemed necessary to meet business needs*REGULAR SHIFT HOURS ARE 2:00 P.M.

FRI*THIS POSITION IS ELIGIBLE FOR A SHIFT DIFFERENTIAL.

QualificationsAt least one (1) year of forklift experience is required.
Able to stand for extended periods of time; shift duration 8 to 10 hours.
Able to break down and restack items on a pallet as needed during the picking process.
Able to lift up to 50 pounds on an occasional to frequent basis.
Able to work weekend and overtime hours as needed.
Accurate counting and basic math skills.
Attention to detail.
Must follow RR Donnelley safety guidelines.
Must be able to hear warning bells or see warning lights.
Must be free of any substance or medication which impairs judgment or reaction time per medical department guidelines.

Disclosure Statement:
The pay range for this role at the noted location is $15.76 to $19.06 per hour.

The actual rate of pay offered may vary based upon, but not limited to:
education, skills, experience, proficiency, performance, shift, and location.

In addition to base salary, depending on the role, the total compensation package may also include overtime, shift differential, call-in, and stand-by pay.
