    Roze Room is a leading provider of Hospice and Palliative Care, with 25 years of dedication to the Southern California community.

    Currently on the lookout for a Per Diem Hospice Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) for the South Bay/Long Beach Areas.

    Flexible Schedules from 8 am to 4 pm with an hourly rate of $35 plus Mileage Reimbursement.

    POSITION SUMMARY:

    • The Per Diem LVN role allows the LVN to work alongside a Registered Nurse, offering skilled nursing and palliative care services to patients at their homes.
    • Collaborating with the Interdisciplinary Team, the LVN gives intermittent visits or shifts of skilled nursing care, focusing on pain management/symptom control and nursing observations.
    • Additionally, they educate patients, family members, or primary caregivers on illness progression, care techniques, and health measures.
    • The LVN also contributes to care plan development and implementation, with proficiency in utilizing computers and electronic medical records.

    QUALIFICATIONS:

    • Graduate of an accredited vocational nursing school.
    • Hold a current LVN license in California, with preference for certification in Hospice and Palliative Nursing.
    • Minimum one year of LVN experience.
    • Possess a valid driver's license, automobile insurance, and reliable transportation.
    • Knowledge of Spanish is beneficial but not mandatory.
