    Job Description:

    • The Director of Business Development will provide significant input and direction for key strategic questions for Client Corporation.
    • Serving as a strategic thought leader, leading critical strategic projects, and influencing leaders around the company.
    • This role has meaningful impact on Client Corporation's future performance.

    Responsibilities:

    • Leads critical projects and initiatives to address key strategic questions or issues for the company.
    • Develops project scope and plan for key strategic projects and initiatives, including deliverables, milestones, and timing.
    • Organize and guide a cross-functional team of leaders.
    • Develops, coordinates and implements business strategies to align with the company's objectives to drive growth and profitability.
    • Designs and leads analysis efforts to identify simplification opportunities and quantify potential impact with support of various functions.
    • Develops recommendations and drives execution of recommendations for areas of opportunity across the business.
    • Provides coaching, direction and leadership support to team members in order to achieve results.

    Requirements:

    • Bachelors Degree with 10 years of experience, 5 years in management. Employee will not have direct reports but will work with an integrated team from end to end.
    • PPBS- military budgeting process.
    • AAC- Army Acquisition Core.

    Preferred Skills:

    • Pentagon Experience.

    Minimum Qualifications:

    • Ten (10) or more years of related experience OR Seven (7) or more years of related consulting experience.
    • Five (5) or more years of management experience.
    • Ability to travel up to 10%.

    Standout Qualifications:

    • Military experience in Army or Defense Acquisitions
    • Military tour at TACOM
    • Master's degree in the field or in a related area; MBA preferred.
    • Fifteen (15) or more years of experience.
    • Experience with complexity reduction concepts.
    • Thought leadership, change management, and project management experience.
    • Ability to influence change and build relationships with other business leaders.
    • Ability to conduct executive level presentations and facilitate group discussions to tackle complex problems.
    • Ability to work effectively with all levels of the organization and to impact others to move toward consensus.

    Education:

    • Bachelor's degree in Business Development or a related field.
