At Hitachi Energy we're helping utilities modernize and secure the world's power systems so communities can depend on cleaner more resilient electricity every day As a Hybrid Technical Consultant you'll be part of our Network Control delivery team that configures and deploys real-time SCADA DMS/ADMS and EMS solutions for utility and industrial customers across the globe You'll translate operational needs into robust configurations tune mission-critical applications for performance and reliability and turn complex grid data into actionable models that operators can trust This is a hands-on role with purpose One week you may be shaping a distribution network model for outage management and switching The next you're optimizing telemetry historian integrations refining test plans collaborating with regional implementation teams to standardize delivery You'll work with modern toolchains follow proven implementation standards contribute directly to projects that accelerate renewable integration improve situational awareness reduce restoration time after events You'll thrive here if you enjoy solving real operational problems with elegant engineering designing testable configurations validating results against live scenarios documenting what you build so teams can scale it again again You'll partner closely with customers software engineers domain experts from around the world gaining exposure to diverse grid topologies protocols operational practices We offer hybrid flexibility in Houston a learning-centric culture global platform where your ideas can shape how grids are planned monitored controlled If you're energized by challenge turning data models standards into reliable grid automation systems keep lights on this is opportunity make measurable impact
