We are an in-office company and our expectation is that employees primarily work from their Applied Intuition office 5 days a week. However we also recognize the importance of flexibility and trust our employees to manage their schedules responsibly. This may include occasional remote work starting the day with morning meetings from home before heading to the office or leaving earlier when needed to accommodate family commitments.Responsibilities
The Lead Frontend Engineer for Mission Control will own the design and implementation of a highly configurable stable and intuitive frontend for Axion. This will include designing a data-oriented frontend architecture that can interact with various backend applications including live vehicles simulations and logs defining and enforcing principled frontend engineering best practices and enforcing strong software contracts building associated test fixtures crafting vision for frontend UI/UX including 2D/3D rendering selection tools for Defense applications including mission planning/debrief command control simulation owning technical roadmap for frontend platforms ensuring alignment with long-term engineering goals scaling needs collaborating closely with product managers UI/UX Designers backend architects aligning frontend strategy business goals technical vision leading system design discussions ensuring seamless integration backend services APIs working other teams integrate your frontline implementation state-of-the-art in-house simulator datatransmission pipeline autonomous systems defense applications.Job description
