    Description

    Job Summary:
    We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Registered Nurse to join our medical/surgical team. As a Registered Nurse, you will provide high-quality care to patients in a fast-paced and dynamic environment. Your primary responsibility will be to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care according to established protocols and standards.

    *Shift: *4x12, days or nights

    *Contract: *13 weeks

    *Pay: * $3057 gross per week


    Responsibilities:

    • Perform comprehensive assessments of patients' health status
    • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians
    • Monitor and document patient vital signs and symptoms
    • Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans
    • Provide health coaching and education to patients and their families
    • Assist with diagnostic evaluations, such as spinal taps or other procedures
    • Coordinate patient care with other healthcare providers, including specialists and primary care physicians
    • Ensure accurate medical documentation and coding for billing purposes
    • Maintain a safe and clean patient environment

    Skills:

    • Strong knowledge of medical/surgical nursing principles and practices
    • Ability to provide excellent senior care with empathy and compassion
    • Proficient in conducting diagnostic evaluations and interpreting results
    • Skilled in lifting, transferring, and assisting patients with mobility needs
    • Familiarity with health coaching techniques to promote patient wellness
    • Experience in dialyzing patients or willingness to learn
    • Knowledge of assisted living regulations and protocols
    • Proficient in medical documentation and coding procedures
    • Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary healthcare team

    Qualifications:

    • Valid Registered Nurse license in IL
    • Minimum 2 years of experience in medical/surgical nursing
    • BLS certification required; ACLS certification preferred
