    Clinical Nurse Educator

    The Clinical Nurse Educator at a small community hospital provides clinical expertise and leadership to enhance patient care through education and collaboration.

    Responsibilities include developing orientation programs, advancing nursing practices, and working closely with healthcare teams to ensure compliance with quality standards.

    This role fosters a spirit of inquiry and implements educational curricula to support both staff development and improved patient outcomes.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Develops and implements orientation programs for nursing staff
    • Advances nursing practices through education and consultation
    • Collaborates with healthcare teams to ensure compliance with quality standards

    Requirements:

    • Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing
    • Holds and maintains current Registered Nurse license in the State of Connecticut
    • BSN from an accredited University (Master's Degree in Nursing preferred)
    • At least five years of progressive experience in clinical practice, nursing education, and/or nursing management in an acute care setting
