    Job Description:
    This is a high-impact LEADERSHIP POSTION open only to physicians NOT APPs specializing in Gastroenterology.


    As Chief of Gastroenterology at AtlantiCare you will:Design build and lead a cutting-edge GI program aligned with AtlantiCare s Vision 2030 goalsCreate a dynamic academic GI division emphasizing research education and advanced clinical careDevelop and expand advanced GI services including complex endoscopic procedures inpatient and outpatient GI careRecruit train and inspire a multidisciplinary team including GI hospitalists faculty fellows and support staffServe as a hands-on clinical leader providing expert consultation and management of complex GI casesDrive collaboration across specialties especially in cancer care leveraging strategic partnerships with Drexel University and The Cleveland ClinicEnsure consistent endoscopic block time and manage robust referral volumes from day oneFoster workforce development through mentoring training and culture-building initiativesEnhance access and reduce disparities by engaging with underserved communitiesRequired certifications at start include BLS ACLS DEA and CSR/CDSOpen to candidates who have history of malpractice or licensing issues with limitations considered.

    This is a high-impact leadership position where the successful candidate will shape GI care delivery and education for Atlantic Ocean and Cape May Counties in New Jersey.
