    Description

    Performs all the essential functions of the Registered Sonographer. Performs and evaluates sonographic examinations and physiologic vascular testing. Obtains clinical history and performs a physical assessment of the patient's condition to determine appropriate testing protocol. Provides a technical interpretation of sonographic and physiologic data to aid physicians in rendering a medical diagnosis. Requires credentials from the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers in a minimum of three specialties including vascular technology. New grads may be allowed to acquire some specialties after hire.

    Hours: Per Diem, 0.01 FTE, Variable Shift, Hours are as needed

    Required Qualifications:

    • Coursework/Training: Completion of an ultrasound program (minimum one year in length)
    • Associate's Degree in a related health care field or Credentials with the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers.
    • National Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon hire.
    • National Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer from American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography upon hire.
    • National Registered Vascular Technologist within 1 year of hire

    Preferred Qualifications:

    • 2 years of recent full-time paid experience in abdomen, OB/GYN, and vascular technology.
    • Recent experience in Neurosonography.
