    Description

    GSF Properties Inc. is looking for a Grounds Technician & Maintenance Technician I in Fresno, CA, join a dynamic property management team

    **Must have 1 solid year of proven and current experience in apartment maintenance with a general understanding of plumbing, electrical and troubleshooting. Able to learn and be trained and able to complete all groundskeeping tasks every day at the property in Fresno**

    Qualifications / Skills for Maintenance Technician:

    • Good communication skills
    • Computer literate (outlook/property management software)
    • Ability to positively interact with the general public, tenants, vendors, and corporate staff
    • Strong organizational skills
    • Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
    • Ability to manage priorities and meet deadlines
    • General building maintenance skills (painting, cleaning, plumbing, electrical, carpentry)
    • General grounds keeping skills
    • Ability to manage emergency situations

    Responsibilities of Maintenance Technician:
    • Maintain good public relations with residents and vendors
    • Assist with annual apartment inspections and identifying action items
    • Report violations of lease and house rules
    • Timely completion of maintenance request, work orders and ensure tenant's maintenance needs are being met
    • Work with manager to schedule vendors and order necessary supplies
    • Perform preventative maintenance duties
    • Maintaining excellent curb appeal
    • Follow policies and procedures

    Requirements

    Job Requirements for Maintenance Technician:
    • Minimum of 1-2 years of current and proven experience in multi-family apartment maintenance
    • Basic knowledge and experience in HVAC, electrical, plumbing, minor fixes such as patching a wall, fixing a doorknob, appliance repair, unit turnovers, and work orders.
    • Basic familiarity with use of computers and technology. Navigate at a basic level within web-based applications.
    • Provide a high level of customer service to internal and external customers.
    • Must be bilingual
    • Able to work Monday-Friday 8am-5pm
