    Position: Hospice Weekend On-Call Registered Nurse (RN)

    Responsibilities as a Hospice Weekend On-Call Registered Nurse (RN) include:

    • Supervising the implementation and continuous assessment of the patient's care plan in coordination with the spiritual care coordinator, social worker, hospice aide, and medical director
    • Ensuring accurate evaluation and developing a comprehensive care plan tailored to each patient's specific needs
    • Maintaining open communication regarding patient conditions and collaborating with relevant healthcare professionals to adapt care as necessary
    • Conducting admissions, routine visits, and end-of-life visits during weekends

    Requirements for the Hospice Weekend On-Call Registered Nurse (RN) position:

    • Education: Associate degree in Nursing (ADN) or Associate of Applied Science in Nursing (AAS) required; Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred
    • Licensure: Active RN license in the relevant state
    • Current CPR/First Aid certification
    • Access to reliable transportation for traveling to care sites
    • Minimum of one year of professional experience as an RN in a hospice or similar environment preferred
