    The Maintenance Technician supports the overall maintenance and physical condition of Trolley Court, a 187-unit single-room occupancy (SRO) property located at 940 Park Blvd, San Diego, CA This role performs routine maintenance, responds to service requests, and ensures the property remains safe, functional, and well-maintained. The ideal candidate demonstrates strong technical skills, reliability, and a resident-focused service approach.
    Key Responsibilities:

    • Perform routine and preventive maintenance, including plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, painting, and appliance repair.
    • Respond promptly and professionally to resident service requests and work orders.
    • Inspect buildings, units, and grounds regularly to identify and resolve maintenance issues.
    • Maintain common areas, amenities, and exterior grounds to company standards.
    • Prepare apartments for move-in by completing turns, repairs, and quality checks.
    • Coordinate with vendors and contractors for specialized repairs as directed by management.
    • Maintain accurate maintenance records, work orders, and inventory logs.
    • Follow all safety procedures, OSHA standards, and company policies.
    • Participate in on-call and emergency maintenance coverage as scheduled.
    Qualifications:
    • High school diploma or equivalent required; technical or vocational training preferred.
    • Minimum of 2 years of experience in apartment or property maintenance.
    • Working knowledge of plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, and general repairs.
    • Ability to safely operate hand and power tools.
    • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
    • Ability to work independently while contributing effectively to a team
    • Professional communication and strong customer service skills.
    • Reliable, punctual, and detail-oriented.
    • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
    • Successful completion of background and drug screenings.
    $0 - $26 an hour
