*Competently operates all CT equipment and support systems to include HIS, RIS, Scheduling System, PACS, teleradiography, performs and evaluates images for technical quality.
# 7.######## *Utilizes department computer systems, PACS, etc., to review patient history and provide accurate documentation of studies. 8.####### *Properly cares for and imaging patients of all ages; maintains patient confidentiality.9.#######
*Coordinates exams within the department and with other departments to provide expedient and complete care; communicates with medical staff, coworkers, patients, families, and other hospital staff to assure quality patient care.
10.### *Handles telephone calls for scheduling, coordination, or questions with courtesy and accuracy. 11.#### *Participates in the department#s quality improvement plan as required.12.### *Cleans, disinfects and maintains equipment as necessary; notifies coordinator of equipment problems and calls appropriate service vendors as needed.
13.#### *Keeps work area properly supplied.14.### *Accesses and administers drugs and biologicals that are pertinent to essential job functions in accordance with Medical Center procedures.
#EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
Graduate from a school of radiologic technology with current certification or eligibility for certification by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists required.# Certification in CT required within 24 months of hire.# Valid state medical radiographer license required.
#OTHER CREDENTIALS / CERTIFICATIONS:
# Basic Life Support (CPR) certification required.
