POSITIONSUMMARY: Performs radiographic procedures asrequested by physicians. Provides care for patients while obtainingdiagnostic quality images for interpretation by aRadiologist.

MINIMUMQUALIFICATIONS:

EDUCATION: High schooldiploma or equivalent and graduation from accredited RadiologicTechnology Program required.

CERTIFICATION/LICENSES: ARRTand New Mexico State licenses required. Basic Life Support (BLS)issued through American Heart Association required, or must obtainwithin two weeks from date of hire or transfer.

SKILLS: Thorough knowledge ofradiographic imaging equipment, anatomy and physiology,radiographic positioning, medical terminology and basic computerskills.

EXPERIENCE:Minimum one year experience required which can besubstituted with clinical education experience.

-Responsible to: Service LineDirector

- Bloodborne pathogenC

Exposure to various body fluidsand ionizing radiation.

PHYSICALREQUIREMENTS: Prolonged, extensive or consideratestanding and walking. Lifts, positions, pushes and or transferspatients and equipment in excess of 50 lbs.
