- Manage and provide oversight to the day-to-day operations of the Bed Coordination Center, Transfer Center, and Medcom departments.
- Bed Coordination Center: Responsible for supervising RNs and administrative clerks who handle bed assignments and patient flow within the Medical Center.
- Transfer Center: Oversee Medics and Paramedics managing patient transfer requests, ensuring proper triage, and determining transfer priority based on clinical knowledge.
- Medcom: Supervise EMT-A's, Medics, and Paramedics coordinating emergency transport systems such as Pegasus Air/Ground and ensuring effective communication.
- Develop programs focusing on quality improvement, streamlined processes, and overall performance enhancement.
- Actively collaborate with team members, seek input, and build respectful relationships.
- Encourage team development through delegation, feedback, and problem-solving.
- Additional duties as required to support operational efficiency.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
Education: Bachelor of Science in Nursing from an accredited program, Master's degree in a related field within 5 years of hire.

Licensure: Registered Nurse license in Virginia, Valid Virginia Driver's license for multi-location operations managers.
