    Job Description:

    Job Purpose: Under direct supervision, assist with the planning activities including the development of plant work orders. Ensure a coordinated effort of maintenance, maintenance planning, and project execution between Transmission and Substation operations and Nuclear. Evaluate and improve the execution of work management of Transmission Nuclear activities for nuclear related assets. Assist in event response and root cause analysis and prevention of reoccurrence. Lead the scheduling and tracking for maintenance, compliance and project progress at the Nuclear sites. Required Minimum Qualifications: - Bachelors degree Engineering or professional certification - Six Sigma Certification Yellow Belt - 0+ years experience in a combination of the following areas: o Assist with projects that require complex analysis and work execution o Substation and Transmission system operations or nuclear operations o Maintenance of transformers and switch yard assets or nuclear assets - Expert ability with integrity and compliance skills - Basic ability with analysis and problem solving, communications, process/project management, commercial, leadership and professional skills Preferred Qualifications: - Masters degree Business Administration or Engineering - Six Sigma Certification Green Belt or higher Primary (Essential) Job Functions (This list is not exhaustive and may be supplemented as necessary by the company.): - Assist with the development of work orders for Transmission activities on nuclear related assets - Assist with scheduling Transmission activities on nuclear related assets - Assist with Event response and emergent issues - Work management planning meetings - Ability to meet attendance and storm duty requirements - Ability to work extended hours Secondary Job Functions: - Performs other job-related duties as assigned Job Standards: Performance will be based on successful completion of all job functions up to the productivity standards and timeframes established and directed by Management.

    Associate Project Scheduler Engineering and Construction

    NextEra Energy Resources is seeking a qualified candidate to join the project Scheduling Team for the Engineering and Construction Division located in Juno Beach, Florida. This candidate will work directly with the Project Originators, Developers, Early Stage Project Managers, Project Engineers, and Construction Managers supporting the development, engineering, and construction of various technologies. Some examples of projects include but are not limited to Wind, Solar, Energy Storage, Transmission Lines, Substations, Pipelines, Combine Cycles, etc.

    Reporting to the group Manager, the candidate will be responsible for the creation, maintenance and progress of project schedules using Primavera P6 Software. The candidate may also be in charge of the preparation of monthly reports for construction projects comparing baseline of approved schedules to progress schedules. This may include critical path method analysis, resource loading, cost loading, Client submittal analysis, evaluation of update impacts and aid in recovery plan development.

    In this role, the candidate will be a key player as a member of the scheduling team in support of project teams working on various technologies to drive project success through the project's entire life cycle. The candidate's scheduling, management and technical skill set will be important to develop effective & accurate schedules, coordinate multidisciplinary meetings and report to management for an impressive portfolio of projects.

    Skill requirements:
    • 1-2 years of Scheduling experience is desired. Alternatively, some experience in Project Management could be also contemplated, with experience in tracking project plans against schedule baselines and performing ad-hoc analyses.
    • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Construction, Business Management, Renewable Energy, Sustainability, or similar field.
    • Team player. Be able to interact with all project participants to gather scope, logistics, and constraints to be included within the plan and schedule. Maintain a positive attitude and develop strong working relationships with all team members.
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to lead Schedule Review Meetings with all project participants and coordinate requirements to ensure resources are focused on the right project activities.
    • Strong bias for action-oriented performers. Analytical mindset. Ability to review, criticize and validate external information. Excellent process management, prioritization, and problem-solving skills.
    • Fast learning, ability to learn and work with Scheduling software.
    • Ability to report project status & variances to management in a clear and concise manner.
