Job summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented Title Insurance Underwriter to join our team. As an underwriter, you will work with clients on complex commercial real estate transactions providing legal expertise in underwriting and risk assessment.You will be responsible for advising clients on the legal aspects of title insurance and underwriting for commercial transactions conducting thorough reviews of title reports surveys and related documents identifying potential issues collaborating with clients underwriters and legal teams developing solutions for complex transactions providing timely and accurate underwriting decisions guidance assisting in the development implementation of underwriting guidelines policies maintaining strong relationships with clients stakeholders in the real estate industry staying updated with industry trends regulations best practices related to title insurance commercial real estate.
Requirements include 5+ years experience specifically in commercial real estate and title insurance underwriting strong knowledge of title insurance products the underwriting process excellent analytical negotiation communication skills ability to work in a fast-paced environment multiple stakeholders strong attention to detail problem-solving abilities familiarity with industry standards legal regulations surrounding title insurance proficiency relevant software Microsoft Office applications.
