    Mary's Home is a Christian, faith-based organization and a transitional home in Stuart, FL. We provide residential and non-residential services for homeless, pregnant women who are in need of a supportive environment because of a lack of suitable housing or favorable family relationships.

    The mission of Mary's Home is to provide a Christian, transitional pathway leading expectant women to a life of self-sufficiency and dignity for themselves and their babies.

    Description: The Outreach and Event Coordinator is responsible for cultivating strategic partnerships through community outreach activities as well as plans all fundraising events. This position develops sponsorship/business arrangements and relationships with non-profit agencies, businesses, individuals, schools and other organizations interested in supporting the mission of Mary's Home

    Responsibilities: Include but are not limited to:

    Outreach

    ● Establish and maintain Mary's Home presence and partnerships with local business, donors and sponsors (current and potential)

    ● Promote interest and provide information regarding Mary's Home programs to community leaders, local chamber groups, community service groups, local congregations, media, and the general public

    ● Nurture new and old relationships with collaborative partners

    ● Network with other agencies to stay informed about services and resources

    ● Responsible for researching and presenting potential new donor prospects and/or key industry stakeholders

    ● Develop and implement an annual outreach plan and develop print materials, presentations and displays to be used in partner recruitment and community outreach efforts

    ● Maintain a calendar of outreach activities, including community events, workshops, appearances and other communication opportunities

    ● Prepare an annual budget for community outreach activities

    ● Prepare accurate records and reports on the goals of the fundraising plan

    ● Identify possible relationships with estate planners and financial advisors to increase gifts through bequests and trusts

    Events

    · Develop an annual event plan and manage all major fundraising events to include: acquisition, cultivation and retention of event participants, solicit corporate sponsorships, logistics, pre-and post-event follow up

    ● Develop relationships and work closely with trustees, event chairs, committees, and honorees

    ● Oversee the volunteer event committee and manage all areas of events logistics

    ● Research and execute event friendraisers

    ● Create content for print marketing materials related to fundraising

    ● Track event expenses and manage budgets

    ● Develop post-event evaluation to ensure success of events and sustainability

    Qualifications:

    ● 3-5 years of experience in outreach, community relations and events in a not-for-profit organization

    ● Established community relationships within Martin County and familiarity with neighboring counties s plus

    ● Excellent communication skills, both written and oral; ability to influence and engage a wide range of donors and build long-term relationships

    ● Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, e-mail, PowerPoint and internet usage

    ● Demonstrated capability to conduct self in a calm, compassionate and professional demeanor

    ● Ability to work well with a diverse group of staff, volunteers, donors, vendors, etc.

    ● Ability to effectively manage a wide array of tasks, projects, and responsibilities

    ● Ability to work productively in an unstructured environment with frequent interruptions

    ● Strong organizational skills

    ● Flexible and adaptable style; a leader who can positively impact both strategic and tactical fundraising initiatives

    ● Driver's license, current vehicle insurance and satisfactory driving record

    ● Desire to work in a faith-based environment and be dedicated to the Mary's Home mission

    Salary range: $42,000 to S46,000 commensurate with experience
