    As the Workforce Manager, you will take an active role in arranging staffing coverage, building relationships with direct support staff, and conducting satisfaction check-ins. You will also track and report staff overtime hours and absenteeism, attend administrative meetings, and participate in a weekend on-call rotation.

    Some duties include:

    ? Supervising substitute and float staff, including providing feedback and ensuring satisfaction

    ? Managing master schedule in collaboration with Daily Service Managers

    ? Scheduling replacement staff to provide shift coverage

    ? Managing PTO or LOA requests for Daily Service employees

    ? Approving, tracking, and reporting various time and payroll metrics

    ? Processing staff call-offs and assisting managers with coverage solutions

    ? Participating in weekend on-call rotation

    Requirements

    Education/Training/License/Certification Requirements

    •Bachelor's degree in one of the following areas; Human Services, Rehabilitation, Education, Business, Psychology or related field; or a relevant combination of education and experience

    •One to two years of prior experience of a similar scope

    •One to two years of supervisory experience

    •One year of experience working with people with intellectual disabilities, brain injury, and/or mental health disability

    •A working knowledge of person-centered planning and person-centered supports is preferred

    •Valid Class C Iowa Driver's License

    •Proof of Automobile Insurance per Iowa State's minimum Auto Insurance requirements

    • Strong computer skills, specifically with Microsoft applications, ability to learn and be proficient in the scheduling software
    • Ability to manage time effectively, organize calendar and tasks well, with strong skills in delegation, follow-up, and handling several tasks simultaneously.
    • Ability to observe, ask questions, listen actively, give and accept feedback effectively, and problem solve quickly.
    • Ability to communicate via phone, including texting; to sit at a computer for long periods of time.
    • Willing to work a schedule that includes hours potentially starting at 6am and ending at 8pm due to taking call in phone calls), with the ability to flex hours during the day as necessary to complete all job duties

    • Flexibility in assigned working hours
    • Ability to be in a rotating on-call schedule (Scheduling only)
    • Ability to self-direct without daily supervision
    • High level of literacy in spoken and written English
    • Must be able to pass criminal history, motor vehicle, child abuse, dependent adult abuse and sex offender registry background checks
    • Possess a motor vehicle that meets the required operational and maintenance guidelines, that are in accordance with the Iowa Department of Transportation motor vehicle safety standards and Candeo's Motor Vehicle Guidelines.
