    The position of Senior Facility Services Technician is an onsite position to steward the workplace experience in a fast-paced technology company.

    The goal is to maintain high customer service standards while keeping an efficient and safe office.

    Someone with outstanding follow-up skills, high attention to detail, the ability to prioritize, is comfortable working with a diverse population at every level of the organization, and is flexible to changing priorities will succeed in this role.

    Essential Duties and Responsibilities


    This roll will maintain standards for planned preventative maintenance and office upkeep to assure optimal functioning of all building systems.

    Anticipating facilities needs and actively addressing issues before they are called out is key. You will thrive in a multifaceted workplace with constantly evolving priorities.


    • You will use our help desk through Jira to track daily activity
    • Proactively handle and document repairs to equipment, furniture, building and fixtures
    • Perform handy person duties including but not limited to installation of whiteboards & corkboards, hanging pictures, removal & installation of keyboard trays, and minor furniture rearrangement & repair
    • Support security efforts for the site as well as safety/environmental compliance, policies and procedures
    • Lab infrastructure support and coordination which could include cabling, electrical, and shield rooms
    • Engage relationships with vendors as necessary - ie. electricians, plumbers, etc.
    • Assist with employee onboarding, and on and offsite event set up/tear down
    • Minor custodial services as needed
    • Post and engage through CONNECT, NETGEAR's social platform
    • Liaison with property management team when necessary
    • Ad Hoc project work as the need arises
    Qualifications


    • 4+ years of facilities technician experience in a dynamic organization
    • A working knowledge of building systems & maintenance (HVAC, fire life safety, lighting, electrical, plumbing, EV charging stations, etc.)
    • Strong work ethic, the ability to work under pressure, multi-task, and problem solve
    • Excellent written and verbal communication and social skills
    • MS Office proficiency
    • Oracle skills a plus
    The US base salary range for this full-time position is $66,591-$90,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location.

    The range displayed in each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all US locations.

    Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors including job-related skills, experience, relevant education or training, professional background, business need and market demand.
