Shift:
8:00 AM - 8:30 PM, 3 shifts of 12 hours each. Every 3rd Weekend, Holidays as needed, On Call.

Job Description
The Radiologic Technologist I is responsible for obtaining diagnostic radiographic examinations at a technical level with minimal supervision and performs essential functions including:

Producing diagnostic radiographic examinations through patient positioning and proper technical factor selection.

Restricting the radiation beam for non-exposure of unaffected areas.

Performing portable x-ray examinations in various settings including patient rooms and emergency rooms.

Developing exposed x-ray films by processing methods.

Maintaining an orderly x-ray room as directed.

Preparing radiopaque contrast media and assisting physicians in administration.

Performing administrative duties related to scheduling, patient instructions, and record maintenance.

Providing patient assistance based on individual needs.

Identifying and addressing the needs of diverse patient populations.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

Minimum of 2 years of experience in an acute care facility.

Must possess New Jersey State License.

Completion of an AMA approved school of Radiologic Technology.

Must meet requirements for the National Registry and pass the examination.

Experience in emergency room and OR settings, as well as portable pediatric procedures is essential.
