- Support the mission of CAMC pertinent to quality improvement, education, and research initiatives.
- Facilitate and conduct research initiatives in pursuit of the Institute and organizational missions.
- Participate in research education.
- Develop a climate to enhance collaboration among administrators, clinicians, and researchers.
- Develop research protocols and conduct studies in designated areas of clinical and community-based research.
- Identify and obtain external sources of funding for research by soliciting appropriate RFP/RFA at the local, state, and national levels; secure and fulfill contractual services on behalf of the Institute.
- Participate in developing and promoting the designated Center as a recognized research center of excellence.
- Encourage, promote, and participate in the presentation and publication of research.
- Participate in professional and community activities related to health care research.
- Maintain expertise through current literature, continuing education, networking and other professional efforts.

Applies knowledge and skills from advanced clinical practice, and/or health sciences research to provide health professionals with consultative and supportive services for research, research utilization, and quality improvement studies.
Responsibilities
